Properties are in excellent condition, with good facilities, and have been refurbished or redecorated within the last five years.

Newly-built and pre-sale property prices are not included. Buyers should expect the prices of new properties to be higher than house prices published by the Global Property Guide.

There are no house price statistics for Ecuador, and its statistical data is generally weak. The Instituto Nacional de Estado y Censos is an ill-organized collection of stale data. The Banco Central del Ecuador is better, but alas has few downloadable time-series. The monthly report on inflation is well presented.

This graph is probably more focused on Panama City prices so the averages are skewed . Truth be told outside of PC the property prices are very good value , cheaper than CR or Mexico for sure . I have shopped both and live full time in one.
