IF YOU plan the COSTA RICA part be sure to back up your computer first, then have plenty of money hidden on your person to replace all your belongings which will probably be stolen. and dont expect help from them they were probably the lookout for the crooks. keep your hand on your belongings ALL the time too, unless they look REAL expensive because then you may lose it too. remember the typical sentence for murder in costa rica is 10-15 yrs
